Hello everyone first, for visiting our website. We are constantly trying to bring new reports to the website. Keep a side with follow. Thank you in private.

Let’s start, today we will talk about the district of West Bengal in India. Several heritage properties in West Bengal create a different appeal in the eyes of people. But it is almost heard from various quarters that they are not well maintained. Due to this, the state government has to face the criticism of the High Court. The state government has not informed the High Court about this yet.

High Court objection:

One such heritage property is the property of Nawab Sirajuddaula of Murshidabad, which almost sank in the Bhagirathi. All these fall under the heritage property. It is the responsibility of the government to maintain it. But now the question has been raised by various circles, has the current West Bengal government been able to fulfill that responsibility properly?

The West Bengal government has been repeatedly humiliated in court in the past few years. Even when asked to answer for their actions, no such answer came out of their mouths. The state government is again in court within two months of the beginning of the new year. Again had to listen to the rebuke.

Due to not taking proper care of Nawab Sirajuddaula’s property, the case has reached the High Court today. The hearing of that case was on Thursday. This time the state has to face severe criticism from the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court on the question of heritage protection. The state government has been directed to convey its position on this matter next week.

During this case, the name of Writers Building also came up. The court wanted to know the action of the state in this regard. The Chief Justice observed that heritage buildings are now being replaced by large high-rise buildings. Rather than preserving the old history, it is being destroyed. And so the state government has closed its mouth. Such acts undermine the dignity of the state.

Apart from this, the judge also said that it is very easy to break something. It can be dismantled within 48 hours. But is it possible to return it? Sirajudullah, the last Nawab of Bengal, had property in Murshidabad. Which is sinking into Bhagirathi due to lack of maintenance. The High Court complained that the government has no initiative in this regard. Such heritage properties are very beneficial for our state.

Tourists come from far and wide to see the historical place. If they come and see such a situation, then our state is dishonoured. The state government is spending a lot of money to organize the fair. But going to the real place, there is a gap somewhere. Which is degrading the dignity of our state.

However, the government lawyer in this case said, “The East India Company destroyed the property of the last Nawab of Bengal, Sirajudullah, in 1758.” And only 9 bigha land is lying. Time has been sought from the Chief Justice on behalf of the state to investigate the matter and observe everything. In response, the Chief Justice said that it is the responsibility of the state to protect what history is left. If you don’t protect it, even 9 bigha land will not exist anymore.
